The Village Clerk of Hilton is appointed by the Mayor and the elected Board of Trustees. The Village Clerk reports directly to the Mayor and is accountable to both the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees. The Clerk is the secretary to the Village Board of Trustees. Other responsibilities include utility billing (water and electric), human resources, supervision of administrative staff, Mayor’s assistant, registrar of Monroe County Vital Records, permit applications and licenses.
Shari has been with the Village for 18 years and has worked in all areas of the Village Office prior to becoming Clerk. |
