Budget Billing

What is Budget Billing?

The Village of Hilton will estimate your average annual electricity usage and provide a balanced monthly budget amount for your home or business account. This convenience allows you to budget for your energy consumption year-round, thereby eliminating higher payments in peak usage months. The Budget Billing year is a 12 month period that runs from June 1st of one year through May 31st of the following year.

Can I apply for Budget Billing at any time?

Yes, but if you apply after June then your first Budget year will be less than 12 months.

How do I sign up ?

If I cancel my Budget Billing plan, what happens to my current balance?

The full account balance is due on your next bill.
